Methodology
Published 2026. This page is the contract behind every score on OddEvenBet. If a rating cannot be traced back to something on this page, treat it as an error.
What we score, and how much it counts
Six dimensions, weighted. The weights are fixed and published so that changing a score requires changing a specific piece of evidence, not just an opinion.
| Dimension | Weight | What moves it |
|---|---|---|
| Fees & payout structure | 20% | Published fee schedule, spread behaviour at 10% / 50% / 90% probability, withdrawal costs |
| Market depth & liquidity | 20% | Order book depth within 2 cents of mid, slippage on a $500 order |
| Usability | 20% | Account opening steps, market discovery, mobile behaviour, clarity of settlement rules |
| Licensing & fund safety | 20% | Named regulator, segregation of client funds, corporate entity traceability |
| Payout speed & methods | 10% | Documented timelines, available rails, complaint volume |
| Support & dispute handling | 10% | First-response time, whether disputes route to a named arbiter |
Where the data comes from
- Primary: the platform's own published fee schedule, terms and regulatory filings.
- Secondary: order book readings taken on the date stated on each page.
- Tertiary: user complaint patterns across public review platforms. We treat these as a signal to investigate, never as evidence on their own.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment, free credit or "review fees" for a rating or a position in a list.
- We do not publish a review without at least one stated drawback.
- We do not claim to have traded a platform we only read about. Where a page is research-only, it says so.
Corrections
If a fee, licence or payout term changes, the page is updated and the "Updated" date moves. Substantive corrections are noted in the page body rather than silently edited. To flag an error, use the contact link in the footer.
